To our founder, tennis and sports have always been more than just a passing interest: we know it might sound cliché, but throughout his career, our founder watched as sports, particularly tennis courts, brought together his clients’ families, partners and friends. More than that, our founder considered himself fortunate that each of his clients represented an amazing opportunity to cultivate social cohesion, health and fitness, and just downright fun.

It was only natural then that he, along with his hand-picked team of qualified installers, started North Shore Sports Surfaces. To this day, we still feel immensely grateful that we get to bring the fun of sports and tennis to our clients across Sydney through safe and reliable surfaces.

It hasn’t always been sunshine and rainbows for our founder and team. The fact of the matter is that construction and communication from most tradies is, at best, not ideal. Our founder saw that one too many Sydney families had to deal with the stress and anxiety of construction setbacks with no clear communication from providers.

From day one we wanted North Shore Sports Surfaces to operate with a difference: minimal stress and no anxiety throughout our clients’ building process.

It was no use touting the physical and social benefits of sports if we couldn’t give peace of mind to our clients during the building and maintenance process.

Making Sports More Accessible For Sydney Children

Growing up, our founder was an avid sports fan and player. He knows first-hand that sports such as tennis can make a positive and meaningful impact on young children’s lives, health and future aspirations. He and the entire team believe that every school kid should have the opportunity to try out a tennis court at least once, to experience the thrill and health benefits that the sport can provide.

By providing high-quality, long-lasting and safe-to-use courts and synthetic grass surfaces to schools, homes and clubs that share this mission, we feel we can give back in a meaningful way to our local community.
